A recent project in Paisley involved replacing a section of damaged roof tiles following storm damage, along with repairing loose ridge tiles along the full length of the roof.
Ridge tiles are bedded in mortar, and over time this can crack and loosen, particularly on older properties. Left unaddressed, this allows water to track in along the ridge line.
The completed work re-bedded the ridge in fresh mortar and replaced the damaged tiles to match the existing roof covering, restoring both the appearance and the weathertightness of the roof.
